Charlie Min of Asian Petrolhead has a great look at the new Maserati Levante Hybrid. Charlie asks and answers the question of whether the hybrid version of this luxury SUV is better than the gas only V6 version.
“Today, we have the new Maserati Levante Hybrid for a quick review.
Maserati says this new Hybrid SUV is about 18% more efficient compared to a gasoline V6 and it emits less pollution compared to the diesel and gasoline variants.
The new Maserati Levante hybrid system consists of four major components, belt starter generator (BSG), e-booster, battery, and DC convertor. Maserati also claims that the lighter hybrid system yields better balance and it sounds very close to the V6, so let’s go check out whether this new Maserati SUV or new Maserati Hybrid SUV handles and sounds better than the V6.” — Asian Petrolhead
