Forget slip-then-grip — the Macan’s expert AWD system splits power between and across the axles with a high degree of intelligence, and with winter tires mounted, it’s never long before this setup finds the traction to sort out hairy situations. Some clever low-speed torque vectoring is even apparent at low speeds, helping to turn in maximum maneuverability in deep snow, where many AWD’s like to plow wide.
